Below is Bialogue's letter to LIFEBeat's executive director, John Cannelli and CC'd to the Sarah Peters Operations Manager. If it seems a bit emphatic, what we really found disturbing was their self-justifying statement that blamed activists for the concert's cancellation, rather than taking responsibility for their insensitivity and misjudgment.

This is the reason they gave for the concert's cancellation: "the possibility of violence at the concert from the firestorm incited by a select group of activists makes canceling the event the only responsible action"( Read more... )

Hopefully they have learned that "artists" who advocate death by hanging or burning for gays and lesbians are not appropriate headliners for their AIDS fundraisers.
